Do you stretch ?

I train 2-3 times a day most days (running, swimming, weights) but never stretch. I go for regular massages but just lately am waking up really stiff

Should I stretch ? Is it actually necessary / beneficial

Love a good stretch, but I find myself at an age where a stretch can go 50/50, it’s either going to be relieving or break my back.

I never stretch either, can't say I've ever had any problems not doing it. But if anyone is one of those people that dramatically stretch on the treadmill next to me before doing 3 minutes of cardio, please stop it or see a doctor.

I don’t need to be able give myself a blow job but tying my own shoe laces would be handy

Who says so ? the same people who are selling protein powder and over hydration ?

You seem to manage fine for 2 1/2 million years. It’s not like I sit behind a laptop all day or commute in a car maybe those people need to stretch?

I had a really good physio once and she said the worsy thing to do as you get older and stiffer is to start wearing slip on shoes and putting things in more convenient cupboards at waist & shoulder height, you’ll be dead in 10 years if you do
