It recently dawned on me that the missus and I have never employed a ‘safe’ word….

Out of interest - what’s everyone’s ‘safe’ word?

As a lover of geography I try to keep mine related to places, my 2024 safe word is Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Firstly do you need one?

Secondly your safewords should be memorable and personal to you.

Currently I don’t have one

Only used a safe word once, turns out "harder" wasn't that advisable

No offence meant, we’ve never really had the need (so far). Just a bit of fun

"My safe words are "Stop" and "No" 💜"

It's quite sad how many girls I've chatted to who have had men perceive that as being encouragement. I once was in bed with a girl who suddenly burst into tears. Didn't say stop or anything like that, but pretty bloody obvious something was up. Turns out I was a rebound shag and she hadn't been used to a guy being gentle in bed. The ex had never respected her asking him to stop or if she wasn't in the mood. Grim. We had a lovely evening after that drinking tea and getting her to agree to having at least 6 months away from men!

"red " but will have had a pretty long and open chat about wants needs rules limits etc way before we do anything that would nescitate using a safe word outside of no & stop

If a no or stop goes unheeded they're about to learn a big lesson about consent.

I usually make sure that people know beforehand that I don't play with those words.

Totally with ‘no’ means ‘no’ - I have never kept pushing after my wife has told me to stop. It’s all about respect.

I just wondered what others used as we’ve always just stopped with a simple stop, obviously if consent IS used and it gets consensually heavy/rough… that’s how I meant it.

Love to hear your words

"'More!'"

Not sure you’re getting the point but I’m sure I could run with it!
