Even physique photos rarely capture what I see with own eyes with the odd exception, always look smaller and less vascular on photo

I like what I see in photos of myself, but people often tell me my pictures don't do me justice.

I've encountered many people who seem to not photograph 'well' even when they are attractive in those pictures (if that makes sense?)

I wonder though if the reason we all seem to look better 'in the flesh' is because the other person/people can see and feel your energy - which you can't get from a photo.

Pictures every time! I can curate them to choose the best angles and the best expressions, and discard the 90% that don't look good.

In the case of my Halloween pics I even ran them through a series of filters in Gimp to achieve the desired effect.

I can't do that in real life. Plus in real life I'd open my mouth at some point, revealing my novelty joke shop teeth.
