New TV time

Hi guys, hoping I can get a little help or advice.

My trusty sony tv of 7 years has given up the ghost and been left with a flickering black screen . Lost count how many times I've unplugged and plugged back in hoping it will sort its self but no joy.

Soo question is, for around £600 what's the go to? Is qled worth it over led ?

For reference, I've been looking at a 55" Samsung qled in currys for 569

Must be some tv gurus on here hopefully
