After spending 3 hours blind

I can now only begin to imagine how horrendous it must be permanently.

I was rushed to hospital earlier and just home after losing my sight and ability to open my eyes.

Adrenalin shots and other stuff stuck in me my eyes finally opened and I have loss of vision but I begged to go home as I had been in unfamiliar territory for hours and in that time I had my other senses only.

Pretty scary experience and back to hospital in a few hours for further tests.

Not sure if I am ok all blurry but at least some vision.., I have no idea what happened just sat in my kitchen and came over funny and my eyes just shut. I was fortunate I had a friend here to call for an ambulance.

They think it is connected to my nerves hence hospital in am.

Awful experience. But I have to ask why are you on here? Personally I would be resting my eyes, unless you use a voice activated programme?

My mum is here now, yes very scary as all my senses have gone and had to depend on hearing only

Not sure why I am on here should go to sleep just a bit shaken up and doesn't seem real

My eyes have been shut for so long it feels good to see, even if that is just fabs, that is the only reason as just not sure what to do.

I read this post about your eyes and after on news a lady on about Eye Inflammation.

Another key symptom of measles is inflammation of the eyes. Because the virus begins in the nose and mouth, it is not uncommon for the virus to spread to other parts of the head. Eye infections, bloodshot eyes and sensitivity to light may occur as a result of contracting measles ... hope thay are looking into that as some parts of the uk a lot of the measles virus around again .
