Am I Slim or Athletic ?

Berkshire

So at 5 10 tall and weighing in at 10 and a half stones I have always considered myself slim. I think technically I’m even underweight.

But a couple of people recently commented that I am definitely ‘Athletic’ as per the FAB body type options.

Now I am genuinely unsure which one I should state to give the most accurate representation.

Opinions ?

Curvy? Fabulous? Hard to tell but athletic and slim would seem accurate.

You’re athletic. You have muscle on your frame and clearly workout. Body weight doesn’t matter. I’m considered Obese.

I would say athletic. No disrespect to beardedguy on this thread. That's what I would class as slim. You look like have muscle mass where as bearded just looks slim. But everyone classes different

I wouldn't worry too much about how you describe yourself.

I'm sure people will go by the pictures rather than what body type you put in the blurb.

Thanks for the feedback. I will be back later to check final counts and then possibly update the profile accordingly.

Thanks again.

The classification i think was designed by someone who's never been in a gym. As a natural muscular mesomorph, to me athletic means the skinny single digit fat % people I compete with in triathlon. But here I think it just means mesomorph...whatever your VO2 max 😀

I’d say if you’ve got definition around the pecs, stomach - athletic.

I don’t think there’s enough options and so if there’s a choice between average and athletic a lot will opt for athletic.

I'd say athletic.

You have a cruiserweight wrestler body so I'd go with athletic.

Thanks. Looking at the feedback athletic trumps slim so I’m updating my profile.

Appreciate all the feedback.

I'm inclined towards 'athletic' for you, unless you are extremely unfit, which you don't appear to be. I see that's your current descriptor, which is probably more fitting than 'slim'.

You can always use the term slim in your text, if you want to retain it

Definitely "Athletic". I put "Average" for myself as there are some really fit guys on here, but know that I'm in better shape than many putatively "Athletic" guys on here. You, however, are not one of those.

"So at 5 10 tall and weighing in at 10 and a half stones "

Diddnt the uk convert to decimal before you were born ? If Uzbekistan can work in centimetres and kilos why can’t the UK after 50 years?

I’d say your obese but depends how heavy those five stones are , if they are small hand size rocks then your probably severely underweight

I'm really unsure as well.

'Heavy athletic' V 'light sumo'

Feel free to test as many times as you like.
