Has anyone else seen the string of lights in the night sky a few minutes before 8 pm coming out of the West? They move in a straight line, emerging and fading as their proceed Eastwards, at least a dozen at one time. It has happened tonight and yesterday in the clear Norfolk sky. I'll be waiting tomorrow!

Yes it’s sky link and it’s costs £270 a month to connect

This. They're satellites, that why you see them in the few hours after sunset. They're high enough to still be reflecting sunlight. When they're first launched they're in a string then they're later moved into their own orbits. So far there are over 6000 of them in orbit.

Shit OP, you didn’t look directly at them did you? That’s the government doing research to see who’s up at night and they can detect eye contact. I imagine you’ve already been profiled.

Musk's fucking totally unnecessary satellites that are destroying astrophysics research. By the time he's finished it'll be impossible to make any astronomical observations without at least one of them getting into the picture. They also fuck over the radio telescope observations that give us understanding of the deepest reaches of the universe, because their electrical systems are utterly shite and generate huge amounts of interference within critical wavebands. It makes astronomy more difficult than trying to listen to the whisper of a butterflies wings a hundred miles away while sitting next to the speaker stacks at a thrash metal band.
