Not a sexy question but why do women have there socks pulled up over there gym leggings?

I've seen more of it the past year and wanted to know when this trend took off

Because it's more comfortable. And looks better than scrunched up leggings

Somewhere In The Ether…

A 1980’s resurgence?

Expect rah rah skirts over the leggings next whilst the chaps will don oversized blazers with the sleeves rolled up…

I thought this, I can't be much fun wearing socks under tight leggings

It's horrible and uncomfortable. It's more common again because trainer socks are now not cool apparently

White socks pulled up over the leggings and a long black coat. Started noticing this about 2 years ago. Another trend the masses couldn't wait to jump on board with. Each to their own but we can't stand popular trends. Think it's slowly fading out again now though. Hopefully crocs are next 🤞🏻

I'm not sure I've ever been cool. I'm perpetually uncool! I wore DMs when I was at school = totally uncool then. Now cool among youth but probably not among women in their late 30s. Still uncool

They ARE cool. But if you're in your teens or early 20s!

Also men doing this at my gym with socks pulled up over jog pants.

Not really a look I'm a fan of for either gender. And I don't don't it myself - I like to keep my ankles cool! 😆

When I went gyming, i was shorts, tee shirt and trainer socks. Mind you, I was sweating more than a cheap beach donkey
