New on here and don’t seem to even get replies. It’s very difficult to put in a message that you think will grab attention, respectful and also what to say about myself. Any tips? Very hard to get started in this. I of course understand it may just be they are not interested and I’m completely respectful of that.

It's good that you are settling realistic expectations for yourself . Most people will never be mutually compatible with most other people, so the majority of contact made speculatively will not elicit a response, as no reply = thanks, but no thanks.

It's not about the quality of the message, it's all about the profile.

Most will view that before ever reading what you've composed.

That's all the advice I give. 😉

Hey not many guys get replies and you're new so hey is your profile the best it can be if not that's one area to start with ,so nice write up nice pics ,explain things like if you don't accommodate why and always read profiles they hate it when you don't, good luck .Its probably freezing in Airdrie about now perhaps that's the reason.

An actual profile with a quality message to back it up.

You can send a message thats great and shows you've read the person's profile but having a good profile (which gets looked at before the message is read) is key. You don't have a profile....hint hint

Use the search function and type in advice, you'll see what I mean

Get rid of the disclaimers /warnings as they're meaningless and longer than what you've written.

Write a bit about who you are, what you offer and like.

If a profile tells me nothing about the person, I delete,sell yourself .

When someone messages the 1st thing I do is look at the profile, is there an attraction and do they want the same things.

The message doesn't really matter if the profile is 💩

As had been said already, the odds of mutual compatibility are low in general. Most people aren't for most people.

A single photo and a single line of text tells people next to nothing about potential compatibility. If there's 30 messages to go through and 25 of those don't have profiles with enough information to know there's potential there, it's only the 5 that do that are getting a proper look 💜
