My wedding anniversary today, it would have been 37 years. Two years and one month since she died of a very sudden unexpected massive stroke. This thread is for any other widows or widowers, I'm guessing there must be a few of us on here who have lost our partner.

Oh Polly, I'm so sorry my dear! I'm also widowed. My beautiful, wise and clever soulmate passed very suddenly, and unexpectedly, from heart failure, at home with me, just 2 years and 5 months ago. We were together 32 years; formally married for 20 of those. My life has been immeasurably emptier without her.

I guess I hide behind Davina.

I know his difficult today is for you.
