When above is not above

All over

Lots of threads ask to do something or say whatever about the poster above. Most people do just that but very noticeably some just skip the person above and go for someone else. I run quite a few threads and tbh I don't like it, especially if it is new people that will be put off and possibly not join in again. Personally I prefer to include everyone though I appreciate why it might be happening

Sadly I feel like fab can be a bit cliquey at times. Hence why this sort of thing happens.

But I absolutely agree, no one should be made to feel excluded on the forums.

Carlisle usually

Sometimes it's a timing thing. Especially when there's a little rush to reply to the hot girl or popular poster.

But yeah. Sometimes people are just rude about it.

I usually find that by the time I've checked the profile above and made my comment, at least 2 others have beaten me to it! So instead of pleasuring the lady who was above, it looks like I want to have the guy that replied before me!

🤯

It's akin to being last to be picked for the netball team. An experience I'm all too familiar with

I think sometimes though the thread goes that fast its easy to miss someone above.

But I do agree that certain people again and again will just get thirsty over who they want haha

It is what it is

Somewhere In The Ether…

To be equitable, such threads often move at such a swift rate that inevitably a good few people are inadvertently lost amidst the proceeds.

However, it is indeed unfortunate that many will deliberately ‘hop’ over people in order to compliment a specifically chosen person 🙁

I think this is it in a lot of instances, I've done it where I've come after the person who's already replied, but just try and go back and do them... Wow, that sounded unnecessarily sexual 🤨

I get missed out lots on threads but it is what it is I’m a big boy lol

I think partly as someone said it’s that race for men to message the hot girl above and other times it’s just not fancying someone even though it’s not that type of thread

I left school at 16 due to being pregnant and my confidence is slowly coming back now. School was awful

It's not just 'those' threads though MB

I'd say, for many men here, someone picking up one on of your comments in any thread is like 1 in 20 - less so for the ladies

It's no sweat for me personally, but I do understand why, for some, the forums can appear a lonely place

I knew I was no good at netball, I didn't expect people to pick me and it didn't particularly concern me. I feel a similar way about the 'one above' threads hence I rarely join them. At least we get a choice

I don't know why they do it at school really, it's no more than a popularity contest when it comes down to it.

I'll admit I got bullied a fair bit, but it's all in the past now.

It certainly was for me, all these new people that i have to socialise with.. scary.

I feel alot more confident now though, it's still kinda difficult but it's better then 2 moths ago.

People are gonna reply to the one they fancy, or as someone else said it's just a timing thing. Honestly, if people get upset about getting skipped they maybe shouldn't play in the first place, it's not that serious.

What does annoy me is the ones that go back and reply to someone.

the timing is sometimes frantic and we’ll often get caught up looking at someone’s profile for longer than we should..

I think also that the ratio thing can mess it up sometimes.

Most “straight” men won’t admit to wanting to do whatever to the poster above if they are male so go higher up the thread seeking the woman.

That said I have seen diplomatic answers of “yes for a drink” etc
