A swinging hiking group sounds exciting......it would likely be people in the scene that know one another well that do this....as opposed to an organised "event". Keen though.....good times in nature

It’s a good idea I was thinking about this, Maybe organising one in the peak district over the Christmas holidays, Maybe Edale - Kinder Scout -Jacobs ladder back to Edale car park it’s about four hours and mostly flat or downhill other than the initial climb and there’s even a train station for those who don’t drive and can’t lift share

I do hikes with a few forumites individually and was in a group chat to organise a group walk that never happened, Or maybe it dead and I wasn’t invited

I guess finding a location that is central and dates and routes that suits everyone’s availability / abilities can be a bit of a challenge.

There are a number of "fab walking/hiking groups" active in the South East and Southern part of Ireland.

It's a safe, discreet, friendly way to meet others active in the lifestyle.

The coffee and cake afterwards is always nice and if people connect and make arrangements to meet again, that's a bonus.

Last time i stayed in one there was a weird guy who reminded us of Donald Sutherland in the last scene of Bodysnatchers!!
