Saw a thread on twitter about how it costs a restaurant 20 cents to provide a soda to a customer which they charge $2 for.

They then proceed to say that the business is making 90% profit margin on it so if a few teenagers come in and steal drinks it's fine because the business still makes profit

I recall an interesting day in the office when a colleague told a vets wife she'd never seen a poor vet. Apart from being horribly rude it showed a huge lack of understanding. I was required to referee the 'discussion' that followed during which we learned much about how much it cost to run a practice
