Yes i have been turned down by both men and couples. Ive never been arsed to find out why. I just respect i’m not for them and keep it moving. Ive sent face pics and the receivers have either not replied or messaged back to say sorry not for us. Ive messaged first and i’ve either not been replied to or had a no thanks message back.

I haven't but I'm sure if I shooted my shot at every person I found attractive I would be. I'm not a fan of the word rejection because it's not really, it's just preference.. we can't all be each others cup of tea, that's just the basic methods of attraction. Just because a person doesn't want you, doesn't make you less attractive, less of a person or should make you feel a negative way especially not on the scene. Next time anyone feels rejected they should ask theirselves why they are feeling that way because I can guarantee it won't be because a stranger didn't see their appeal, there's always a deeper issue.

This thread is going as expected.

I could be wrong but reading between the lines the op and subsequent posters are saying that either women should never be rejected or that any man who does so must have a crazy excuse for doing so.

It's pretty simple. If I don't like someone's attitude I don't care what they look like and I have no issues about turning them down.

Anything else shows a lack of self respect.

Uh, whiteknights.

You know we're not here for sympathy or to hear that it's their loss or they must be insane, right?

Men are just as within their rights to say no to someone they don't gel right with. Making out they're somehow lesser for it is really not productive or helpful 💜

I certainly never implied the men involved were crazy. I think the implication that the “fault” lay in me (and my brand of crazy).

In fact I think this thread (reading between the lines) actually shows that not every man is just desperate for a shag. That many of them have self respect and have turned down some very attractive ladies (the other posters - not myself).

And this myth that women on here have it all is absolutely ridiculous.

Yes, I've been turned down before. I respect somebody doing that than stringing you a long and then not showing up. I know I've turned down many. It's not pleasant tbh but I think being honest and choosing your words carefully when you do so is important xx Happy fabbing xx

"As a woman have you ever been turned down by a male? Can you tell us the circumstances and his reasoning please? "

Do you mean on fab? If so I haven’t directly approached anyone for a meet and been declined (from memory) but often things don’t work out. Sometimes they don’t show or conversation drifts to silence 🤷🏻‍♀️

IRL I once asked a bloke out that I had been working with but he didn’t call back so I guess that’s being declined.

I once had a guy message me and then ask for a face pic and then blocked me immediately. He lived quite near to a non fab friend and in the same village that my ex husband now lives in so I can’t help but think there was some common causal link. Either that or he didn’t like my face which is entirely possible and if that was the case then his reaction to block me was exactly the right thing to have done.

You win some you lose some. Not every approach ends how you anticipate at the start.

Of course they have feelings but my point is those feelings are directed at the wrong person. We need to look within to see why our feelings are hurt by this.

Sure as for one that for me anyhow would be a rare occurrence and it’s a huge compliment for a woman to ask more so in our society as of the way we’ve been conditioned.

Absolutely. I've been rejected on here after sending a picture of my face as I wasn't their type and it's OK it happens. If it's done in a polite and positive way then there's no reason to feel bad about it.

I've also been stood up which at the time I felt hurt by. Not for the rejection but the total disregard and waste of my time.

As someone who talks to people before fucking them, even at clubs, that's far from true for everyone.

Also, the question of rejection was asked without context. I didn't say my rejection was at a club for a direct sexual invitation.

And, even if it were, just because the way I look is usually appealing to a lot of people, it is not to everyone's tastes. And the people who aren't interested in me on a physical level are not somehow mentally deficient nor 'losing out' by not being into me 💜

I received a wink last week from a woman who had, hands down, the hottest photos I've ever seen on fab and had a really good bio that I liked the sound of.

She was a five hour drive on opposite side of the country though so I didn't engage.

It's not always about looks or even compatibly. Sometimes it's just about mileage.

Did she feel rejected? I doubt it. Is it her loss? No. Am I crazy to turn down an opportunity to chat to someone really hot and interesting? No. Because it's impractical. That's life.

And this myth that women on here have it all is absolutely ridiculous."

I meant in general not just here so Thankyou for replying so informatively. I reckon the guy that blocked you knew you and didn’t want you to know he was out there looking, maybe he was married and you might of told his mrs.

It’s only understandable that they aren’t attracted to you. It also depends on what they are looking for; if it was just sex then you certainly have a great body for it so maybe they wanted more than just sex.
