Replace carpet. Use old one for the corpse. Take to Halton Moor. Local youths will burn it for you free of charge

Wet "

Gotta dab it up with tissue or something then get some soapy hot water and let it soak for a few minutes and it should be able to absorb it

London (She/Her)

Wet - dab the lose blood and then salt into the carpet to draw out the rest.

Never use heat or hot water on blood - it cooks the protein

Edinburgh (She/Her)

Various ways to remove fresh blood. Vinegar or lemon juice, bicarb and cornstarch mix. Cold water. Dab repeat.

Key is not to use hot water or anything hot. The hot basically fixes the proteins in the blood and it will never come out..

Don't get it hot, as the protein will solidify

Round the Bend

Clean the sharp knife you were previously using, move the sideboard and cut a square in carpet from underneath and also cut similar square at bloody mark, swap patches, blood disappeared job done.

Use fly spray under sideboard now and again when the heating comes on, you don't want blow flies
