Not the Fab social kind of date. An actual "date" date.

It's been a very long time since I last did this.

What are your top tips?

Don’t wear a light coloured top and have spaghetti…

After a couple of drinks, show them your Fab profile, they have to understand the potential early on.

Yay! Have a blast.

Don't overdress, go for something comfy and relaxed. Nothing that says 'I want to take you home and bang you senseless'.

*not on the first date anyway. 😉

It's also been 24 hours of chatting and it's not been turned to sex.

Aww, dates are the best.

Just be you. You're awesome.

Check your teeth after food. No one wants a goodnight kiss with a big chunk of spinach stuck there.

Remember, if it's awful, you're not actually obligated to stay.

Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident in the setting your expecting.

Good luck 💜

Hire a barber shop quartet to appear mid date singing 'I want your sex' and then you quickly say, 'I'm not desperate or anything.'

Also, maintain an air of intrigue by arranging for random male friends to keep on appearing and asking for your autograph, saying things like, 'That scene in triple anal bitches was magnificent.'

Yes...it is.

I have no issues telling you the truth as I have no horse in this race but its an issue.

I know plenty of men right now who are non swingers and they won't date a woman who has engaged in any sort of hook up culture or has posted any sort of provocative photo or nude.

Now this is the point where people on this site will lose their shit and act like everyone out there is like us but the reality is, they're not, nor do they have the same worldviews.

I'm.sure some will argue here those men are insecure (they're not) or that we all have pasts (which is true but we all.get jusged for that). On the flip side I know a few women that wouldn't date a promiscuous guy either.

So you have a choice. Tell him.and deal with his response or lie and never tell him which is not a good start to a relationship. Choice is yours and I'm not passing any judgements . I'm simply telling you, its a discussion you need to have very early on to save any problems in the future.

My reply was I’d like to have a bi sexual girlfriend and she can have her own girlfriend on the condition that I get to watch and join in from time to time.

They wanted to know more about my stance on equality and LGBTQ rights, not my pervy fantasy.

I disagree. Not telling someone what you’ve done in the past isn’t lying. Unless they specifically ask if you’ve ever been on a swingers site. Some people on here never ever meet and see it as a naughty Facebook type thing. I wouldn’t be telling anyone anything and if they persisted in asking those sort of questions you wouldn’t see me for dust.

exactly what I said .

"Just be yourself and don't try to be someone you're not.

If it goes to a second date and progresses from there then good luck going forward. You then have the issue of this lifestyle??....

I wouldn't class myself as in the lifestyle or as a swinger so it's not really an issue.

"

Can't say I agree with this. It's funny how people would call us promiscuous for being on a site like this but it's acceptable to hook up with people you meet in the street? It's the same thing, only difference here is that we are all on the same page from the get go. It's no one's business what each other has done before the date and won't be after, even if the date progresses into a relationship. If anyone I date judges me for this lifestyle, that's not a person that I see a future with anyway.

This is too deep talk for a first date, let's not take away from the OP.

Interesting opinion!

It's not an issue. Enjoy your date and don't ask when they last had a meet!

I'm doing on a cinema date end of the month too, feeling nervous.

For you, check how much eye contact he makes. If he checks his phone more than once, forget it

Exciting, I’ve not be on one of those in years!!!

Be yourself and remember it’s ok to say if you’re just not clicking. And any red flags just make your excuses and leave.

Hope you have a great time x

Wear shoes you won’t fall over in, don’t get too dr*nk, perhaps let a friend know where you’re going, wear your favourite perfume. If you’re not feeling it, make an excuse and leave. But most of all - have fun and be yourself

Hand-crafted artisan coffee is often very expensive.
