Me and a few of my buddies, (Lewis, Ed, Bobby and Drew) are thinking of taking a canoe trip down the Cahulawassee.

...Is there anything we should be aware of before we leave?

That river I think features in a film called "deliverance" so I'd watch out for Rapids.

He really doesn't want to break his leg in that area but it's not great to break your leg anywhere.
