Just about to start the school run for another 6 or 7 weeks.

Who else does it & do you love it or loathe it?

I enjoying seeing the mums, but the mad dash when they've all gone in is a nightmare!!

I hate it..

What I hate most is dangerous and thoughtless ways a lot of people drive and park near the school

We're lucky in that we don't have to anymore, school is just up the road, however it's the only road in\out so we get a hell of a lot of traffic.

Makes me laugh when I'm on my way back home, you see the same cars that are always running late!!

I kick Nic out of bed extra early because I know how slow they move in the morning. We started walking it instead of driving it, nice way to start the day.

I hate it.

Don't have kids......the school runs cause chaos on the roads where I am and the traffic jams subsequently caused. Grrrrrrr

I, luci hate the school run in a morning, can't wait till September when both my kids at high school!

They catch the bus to school and home. Will be so much easier having them both in one place.

What a nice earner for the Police and Traffic wardens, parking on double yellows or zig-zags, never mind the driving while on the mobile phone or doing the make-up or even screaming at the kids...never mind double park its legal near a school if you turn up in your PJ's.

I am lucky, I have the option of just walking my kiddo to nursery but the other parents who do the school runs annoy the fuck out of me b/c they block our drive even though we ask them to move they all get stroppy about it.

Northamptonshire

2 school runs and 1 midday nursery run. I dislike it with a vengeance. The route is dull, my daughter moans about walking about it every other day and then there are the parents who think that buggies are battering rams to barge their way through
