Having some coping strategies help, depends when anxiety or panic attacks occur and what triggers them. Identify your anxiety or fear can help, actually verbalising your thoughts and feelings help greatly

your head

Deep breathing, distractions. I try to keep some Fidget toys nearby as they help especially infinity cubes. Talking to friends or family. Sometimes I just have to ride it out and let it pass.

If it’s a future anxiety I’ll make lists of what could

Go wrong and make 2/3 plans of what to do.

Although my anxiety is spectrum based so it might be different.

Mid overload I can be touched by a select few

People in 2 bodily places

Calling someone and ranting

Stimming heavily.

It is trial and error. But when you find your things…. Tell someone

And working out your triggers too.

I suffer from pretty bad, at worst debilitating anxiety.

Other than taking my medication everyday, I don’t cope with it mostly.

those who live in the future are anxious

and those who live in the present are at peace

Maybe meditation there are centres in towns and cities that do courses with practitioners

Beta blockers have been really helpful for me when I find myself spiralling.

They don't remove the anxiety but they help me cope better with the physical aspects of it so I'm free to work on the mental aspects.

So one of the things I use now which help stave off anxiety before bed is my weighted blanket, the weight allows my heart rate to stay low and calm, didn’t really used to believe how well these would work but highly recommend

I totally forgot about my weighted blanket. It was a game changer when I needed it.

Slow down

Ground yourself

Learn and practice relaxation, so that ecan automatically reinstalle that calm state of mind at will. By regularly relaxing, it will become your more automatical default.

Spend time in nature
