A question on orgasms (well, a few)

Do you ever have really intense orgasms that result in headaches following?

Have you ever had an orgasm that's resulted in you being a bit emotional after? Would you find it a turn off if someone did whilst with you?

Do you experience different levels of intensity when it comes to orgasms?

Yep, that's my lunchtime musings done. :D

I do get a short headache after some intense orgasms, mostly when my husband gives them to me as the ones I have solo are never as strong.

Lots of playing and blood build up from pleasure following an orgasm as the body relaxes the blood flows faster through the body that gives a quick headache.

A cuddle or nap and a drink of water should help

Definite yes to the headaches. I can get really bad ones if it’s really intense

Don’t think I can remember getting emotional afterwards ever.

Beau doesn't get headaches after orgasms, instead she gets bad cramp in her calves. Only one at a time and more so one, than the other.

Sometimes I get very lightheaded and my hearing goes funny. But I've never gotten a headache and I rarely get emotional.

But yes to all different levels of intensity. Usually my first one can be quite subtle and the intensity builds for each subsequent orgasm.

I've had the orgasm headache once. It was right in the base of my skull. Horrid.

The bursting into tears when climaxing? I did that once many years ago and it totally freaked me out. I didn't let myself feel too much emotion during sex for years and years after that.

I have had headaches, head rushes and recently a bit of short term nausea.

I recently experienced being in a completely wobble, head gone, unable to even stand up straight mode too afterwards. I was surprised at the intensity and duration of the impact which resulted in changing evening plans so I could cosy down and relax 😂

Yes. I burst into tears after orgasm once. I was falling in love and I believe it was the first time I'd ever truly made love.

I do have different types orgasms too. Emotions and intensity are big factors.

I seek out the kind of climax that travels all the way to my finger tips and out the top of my head and overwhelms me so completely that any sense of being physically and mentally present is vaporised into a state of perfect clear bliss.

Over the years I've learned myself enough to know that if I try to force an orgasm it has a good chance of leaving me drained and feeling low so there are times when I choose not to cum because it's not the moment.

I like to submit to an orgasm and getting brought to orgasm is a singular experience and feels quite different to me than if I have a more active role in the climax.

Yes to both. Headaches less likely than being emotional but it can happen.

Yes! That's the same for me. Well the strength of orgasms, not your husband giving me them.

I don't know why they're not as strong solo, I've had years of doing it and really perfected the technique but clearly not perfected enough.

Nope

No to both of these questions

Do you experience different levels of intensity when it comes to orgasms?

Absolutely. And the level of intensity and nature of my orgasms has changed post menopause. I have less now, but they can be longer and can blow my mind on occasion.

1. No.

2. Not in the way I think you mean, but there have been occasions on which I've started laughing uncontrollably. I think it's something to do with the orgasm causing muscles to relax so quickly.

3. Yes. Sometimes they're just a pressure release, sometimes I burst out laughing, sometimes I just lay back unable to speak and breathing heavily like I've been for a run. Sometimes they force just a small moan out, sometimes something louder and more forceful.

I have no idea what caused the headache. Maybe too much coffee?

Shutting off emotion... some kind of compartmentalisation, I guess? I was falling in love with my ex husband and hadn't felt anything that big before. The simultaneous orgasm and gazing into each other's eyes was all too intense, and the involuntary tears made me feel disconcertingly vulnerable.

I've not felt the need to shut emotion off during sex for a long time, now. I'm almost normal.

Never had a headache but if I have an intense orgasm I get very sharp pains at the top of my womb in the aftermath, feels like something is twisting. The first time it happened I freaked out and was convinced it had something to do with cancer (even though I had cervical cancer so it was in the wrong place). Much relief when tests came back clear. Now I just accept it - they don't last long.

I do occasionally get emotional after very strong orgasms. Hysterical laughter can easily turn to tears.

I do have varying orgasms, but even my mildest is quite intense. There's no rhyme nor reason to why one will be more intense than another- there's no particular thing that triggers a really powerful climax rather than a milder one. Every one is complete in its own way and every one is a joy.

Never had an headache after an orgasm.

I do experience what I call a cum high manly because of the dopamine in my body . I feel good 🥴

I do experience different levels of orgasm depending on the type, pussy orgasms tends to be less intense than anal orgasms.

Headaches, no never.

Emotional ? No, never.

I would not find it a turn off if someone else did, but I would wonder if they were ok or if there was some unresolved trauma being processed.

.

Intensity ? Oh now we get to a very detailed part and I've self-studied this an awful lot.

.

I can best summarise many excel spreadsheets of analytics with the following.

.

The first immediate ejaculation, intensity is 8 (on a scale of 1 low to 10 extreme) on average. Whole body shake.

.

The second wave is typically a 6-7, and that's a groin area shake.

.

The 3rd wave is the "goodbye wave" and that's usually a 3-4. It's a nice feeling but barely noticeable.

.

There are typically a few more very low intensity waves after that. 1's and 2's.

So the above might be recorded as a 8-6-3-2-2-1

.

My records indicate I did have a 10-9-9-8-8-6-5-3-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 on a certain date doing a certain thing with someone. It was mind-blowing. I think there were 19 waves in total.

.

I can tell that between the 10 to 8 scale, I completely lose all sense of self. I am consumed by the orgasm entirely. That'd be the massive hit of dopamine and other brain chemicals.

.

I only studied this very deeply for about 6 months or so, to better understand my response and my triggers.

.

But it helped me with others too, as much of my work is entwined with the physiological and mental side of things, and I'm a believer in the philosophical saying, "Know Thyself".

"Do you ever have really intense orgasms that result in headaches following? "

Not so much headaches, but definitely a rushing feeling in my head. I always assumed it was due to my breathing slowing/stopping when I was about to hit the peak of my orgasm (or if I hit a few big ones in quick succession)

" Have you ever had an orgasm that's resulted in you being a bit emotional after? "

Frequently! Especially if it's been a while since I've climaxed. I think I've frightened people in the past with such huge waves of emotion that I've been unable to stop crying.

" Would you find it a turn off if someone did whilst with you? "

If I didn't know it was a thing, I think I would probably be terrified that I'd hurt them in some way! It's never happened with someone else, and I hope I'd react sympathetically.

" Do you experience different levels of intensity when it comes to orgasms?

"

Yes. Different partners find different triggers for me, so my orgasms vary wildly in intensity depending on who's doing what and where! 😏

YESSSS!!! They ruin the mood…those usually only happen when I’m alone and I’ve only myself to blame because I’m usually very dehydrated and have so much tension already that there’s no where for it to release to except explode my brain.

Headaches - yes. After multiple and intense ones.

Yes, I "crygasm" a lot lol mostly when I'm in some sort of emotionally straneous phase of life but sometimes when I'm emotionally ok. Apparently, it has something to do with the release of hormones that orgasm has an effect on. I actually went to read about it cause I though there was something wrong lol turns out its quite common and normal.

I would consider it a compliment actually. I've made them orgasm so hard their body released not just happy stuff but ALL the stuff!

Not just different intensity but different orgasms. A stimulation of different zones will have a different sensation orgasm. It'll just feel comletely different. I think thats fascinating about female orgasms. Brilliant!!

Not just different intensity but different orgasms. A stimulation of different zones will have a different sensation orgasm. It'll just feel comletely different. I think thats fascinating about female orgasms. Brilliant!!

Eww 💩 what a mess!"

All good things are hard

Time, nothing beats that, "
