On the subject of moisturiser, cos I’m a moisturiser queen, after years of paying for expensive ones I impulsively picked up a much cheaper one by CeraVie and it’s fantastic. Best I’ve ever used.

It’s witchcraft. An exfoliating moisturiser (no need to buy scrubs) and it works brilliantly and I get very dry skin.

Witchy beauty. I’ve got into this whole food thing where I’ve literally cut out sugar and anything processed, the first thing I noticed was my skin feeling better. Im reading about all this weird stuff now like chewing cloves and the benefits of herbs lol.

No, I don't enjoy moisturiserising I don't like the feeling of being creamy not in that way lol I will occasionally slap abit of niva round my face,elbows and feet if I can be arsed.

I power alot after a bath instead, I come out looking like a ghost lol and I think that keeps my skin nice and smooth like a baby's botty

I had such lovely skin until menopause hit. I never appreciated it, never looked after it, it was just glowy and clear and lovely and I often got compliments on it.

Now it's scaly and blotchy with huge spots. A FB once asked whether someone had hit me because the spots on my jaw were so inflamed he thought it was a bruise.

Every day I'm applying serums and lotions and creams and I know not what.

My dermatologist assures me it'll get better in 5 to 10 years, so there's that.

I reckon you should moisturise your skin in some places like your face after a sticky and ripped shave or sometimes on your hands and ends of your fingers when they might crack in the winter and cold weather. But other than that the answer would have to be no, not today or any time soon really. Because unless you have to or your doctor told you to, I would just leave your skin to moisturise itself naturally. And my reason behind this, is the dead skin cells everyone gets. It's called "exfoliate" where your dead skin shed's and falls off. Hence the medical term "exfoliating and shedding" LOL when you moisturise all your doing is keeping all that dead skin there and sticking it all back down into your complexion. Which probably causes itchiness and irritation on your skin. Which also makes you have to rely on the stuff to make it feel better and soft to prevent it from drying out and going hard and cracking. Your skin has natural moist and oils to keep it healthy and nice, by moisturising it your just weakening your skin. I do not believe that moisturiser makes you younger looking lol nor protect your skin from anything unless its sun lotion or e45 which can help. I just found that ex girlfriends that uses it all over or some mate's that have stayed round and slept in the spare bedroom are just filthy the next day. You can sometimes see it on their skin the next day and you can always definitely see it on the pillow case they have slept on, or their neck collars. Especially if they don't always wash it all off and just leave it there. Everything just sticks to them as they go everywhere lol if soaps and cleaning products dry your face up or hands, then change the product and moisturise if really needed. But the reason behind dry and hard skin after washing is because you haven't dried yourself properly, simple as, that's all. For a man I have clean soft feet and I have been asked numerous times how did I get my feet like that, what creams did I use? Questions like that and I said I just dry my feet thoroughly on the bottom of them, that's it. Your biggest skin pores are on your feet so I would definitely look after them.
