What kind of worker are you?

couple, us we him her.

Ok so they'll be others to choose from.

But are you:

Hard working, conscientious and honest, never shy away from responsibility and take ownership of your work but don't expect anything other than wages?

Or

Do just enough to warrant your employment not really interested but competent enough and can do a good job when you can be arsed?

Or

Pretty fucking useless hide behind others but great at sucking up to management or owner's, you have mastered the art of stealing others hard work and making it look like you have done it?

Or

Lazy arse, don't give a fuck willing to let everyone else do all the work and let them take the responsibility but your always the first to complain if you don't get what you want?

I'm the moron who can't just watch the fuckers burn the business to the ground, so I spend most of my days stressed and trying to wipe the arses of the clueless morons being paid at least twice as much as me so that things keep moving forward. Fully aware that they will not recognise it or pay me an appropriate wage for the amount that I do 💜

Way too conscientious for my own good

I find it very difficult to walk away knowing there is still stuff to do

That said, I have some principles

I take all my holidays, take my lunch break, will not work weekends and I won't wipe someone else's arse for them

I don't carry the lazy

Not a chance

I'm number 2. When the motivation is there, I I'm genuinely very good at what I do but I'm not going above and beyond and stressing myself out for anyone. If they want shit done on time with good quality, then set reasonable deadlines

At the moment I really like my job so it’s the first one. I’m paid good money, have good bosses who appreciate my work and I get to wfh. That said I don’t work a minute longer than I have to and always take my breaks. It’s currently a good balance for all of us.

I'm naturally type 2, but insecurity and perfectionism drive me towards type 1.

I then fume at myself for losing perspective.

My job isn't important (though I do enjoy it) and I don't matter.

The fact that I can tell my manager to fuck off and just refuse to turn up to meetings I consider a waste of my time is one of the few reasons I tolerate the place. That and actually enjoying making the numbers dance when I'm not stuck trying to fix everyone else's shit.

I could easily find something less stressful for more money. But nowhere else would even consider tolerating my attitude if they don't know my worth. And I cannot be fucked to mask completely for the months that would take 💜

As much as I try to fit into the

"Not giving a fuck" category unfortunately due to me being a total worry guys, overthinking everything care way too much about what people think of me my harshest critic is myself and I genuinely lose sleep if I feel I haven't given 100%.

I worry about every job I do and set myself up for a fall by setting unachievable goals.

I rarely stop for more than a few minutes a day,I'm early to every job and always go over and above.

Most of the guy's I work with keep telling me I worry too much, but I just can't be the alternative.

I work hard and will probably drop dead at work.

The really really sad thing is I fucking hate what I do I dislike being a carpenter and hate the whole industry.

But still want to be the best I can be at it.

What a sad loser

Conscientious but am done with doing way more hrs than I'm paid to do for free so I don't. That makes me feel crap often but that's my new approach to working esp given the money I'm on. Have given lots to my workplace and feel over the years it's been thrown back in my face. Definitely not a 2 way street. So I get in an hour early, work through break and lunch and stay for an hour and a half after hrs. If I can't get everything done in those hours I don't.

Two ish leaning towards one when it matters. I do what I'm paid to do and regularly clean up other people's mess but I don't do it for the company, I do it for the customers. I won't work past my hours but that doesn't mean I can leave jt behind when I clock out. Unfortunately my job can be quite mentally draining. I couldn't and won't do it forever.

Stay focused till the job is done, no matter how long that mighy take. Do every job with integrity and to high standard. Support anyone who might need help, praise good work and celebrate achievement. Who you work for and work with can influence all that. Good teamwork and common goals and supporting one other to achieve those brings joy and fulfilment in what you do imo

How hard of a worker I am all depends how deep your pockets are.

For example: good hourly rate/ salary means good worker. Minimum wage = minimum effort.

You get what you pay for, if you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

It completely depends on what day it is and what's going on in all honesty. I'd probably say I'm no 2 on the list, just because I do work, I do my job, but also I'm not one of those who'll go above and beyond or work silly hours/overtime etc.
