Warner Chappell no longer own the rights; all copyrights have expired and the 'song' has been in the public domain since 2017.

Men at Work`s biggest hit, Down Under, got them in trouble when someone pointed out it sounded like "Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gumtree", they were taken to court and initially lost all their royalties to a bunch of nuns in the middle of fuck knows where in Australian outback - they did appeal and got some of it back...

That`s bloody useless info!

Water might not be wet. This is because most scientists define wetness as a liquid’s ability to maintain contact with a solid surface, meaning that water itself is not wet, but can make other objects wet.

Is that interesting?

If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have

produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.

(Hardly seems worth it.)

If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is

produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.

(Now that's more like it!)

The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the

body to squirt blood 30 feet.

(O.M.G.!)

A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes.

(In my next life, I want to be a pig.)

A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves

to death. (Creepy.)

(I'm still not over the pig.)

Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour

(Don't try this at home, maybe at work)

The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached

to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.

(Honey, I'm home. What the...??)

The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human

jumping the length of a football field.

(30 minutes... Lucky pig! Can you imagine?)

A study has revealed that the kind of face that a woman finds attractive on a man can differ depending on where she is in her menstual cycle. For example, if she is ovulating she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. However, if she is menstruating or menopausal she tends to be attracted to a man with duct tape over his mouth and a spear lodged in his chest while on fire. No further studies are expected on this subject.

In the middle ages, in Flanders, Ghent (now Belgium) there was an actual profession of urine collector. The urine was used to extract ammonia which was used to make saltpeter, one of the ingredients of gunpowder. Every morning the collectors went round town with barrels collecting urine and paying money for it.

Naturally, certain people tried to cheat them by diluting it, so a new profession arose, that of the urine taster. They organoleptically determined the purity and quality of the valuable ammonia. But with the coming of the industrial age people learned to synthesise ammonia, or extract it from other sources, so the profession of urine taster became unnecessary. So all those urine tasters left flanders, moved to Amsterdam and founded the Heineken brewery.

There was a 3rd/4th Place Play Off in the F.A. Cup for losing semi-finalists each year from 1970 to 1974. (And you thought the Nations League was a waste of time !)

Jimmy Greenhoff is the only player with the "full set". Winner with Manchester United in 1977, runner-up 1979, and while with Stoke lost semi-finals in 1971 & 1972. They won the play off v. Everton in 1971, but lost to Birmingham in 1972. (In fact the Birmingham game in 1972 was also the first F.A. Cup tie settled by a penalty shoot out). The players in the 3rd/4th Place matches received tankards.
