"Keep the cash. I still use it as much as possible." Same here but soon enough there will be no such thing as cash. The government will know we all go to clubs

"It will be the next generation that force the cashless thing through I've tried educating the kids but they just don't get it as paying for stuff on their phones when they are out with their mates is way cooler than handing over or carrying round a paper note... They have had it rammed down their throats by the banks and on TV/films and the media to purchase things this way now, so everything is tracked. And no I am not a crazy flat earther or anything like that it's just the way the world is moving. It's hard to even spend any large amounts of cash in the EU already and the UK isn't far behind. There is ways to do stuff more 'anonymously' with crypto still but that's it's own minefield and volatile to say the least." I very rarely use cash, not because it’s ‘cool’ but because it’s safer and more efficient and cuts down on organised crime. I recently took cash from UK to UAE via Istanbul and Riyadh, just because the Fx fees by my bank it would have cost me over £1000 . While just below the limit for paperwork It was still flagged by scanners and queried in each country which is a good thing.

"^^ yep. My toothbrush tells me how long I should be brushing my teeth for. I ignore it. I cross the road when the pedestrian lights are red. We're all adults and don't have to do as we're told or follow instructions given to us by banks and supermarkets" Very true you rebel .

I couldn’t care less who sees what I’m buying, as long as it’s not being controlled. No one gives a toss what tins of beans I’m buying in Tesco and for the few things that need cash it’s a massive pain in the arse. How many times have you been short changed? And how many times have you dropped a tenner by mistake? I’ve never lost a penny on my card. I don’t get what all the fuss is about, the only people who really care about cash are the people who don’t want to pay tax, which is fair enough really

I took 11 items through the 10 items or fewer checkout the other day...🥳

"How is it controlling? It’s keeping you informed so you can opt to make different choices. You don’t have to make those choices. You’re still free to do what the fuck you want. When a store refuses to sell you things that have a large carbon foooprint…..then you’re being controlled. " So it may not seem controlling to you now but watch a short you tube video called Jonny cash the smart money. You’ll end up with a carbon usage and when you go over you’ll be fined or penalised in some way. These are the first steps, same as getting rid of cash they will be able to control your spending and your movements. Check out the short video Jonny cash the smart money. It’s coming. Cash is king. Use it or lose it
