Andy Williams singing Where do I begin is my favourite. It's the theme tune for Love Story.

Read the hype, saw the film, a Prince fan since. Wouldn't say the best ever soundtrack though.

I love films and the soundtrack is just as important as the story or actors. Often creating tension like Jaws soundtrack used instead of showing the shark or in Psycho, music used as stabbing a woman in the shower.

My personal favourites,

Out of Africa - John Barry

A Fistful of Dynamite (or Duck you sucker) Ennio Morricone (to be honest I can’t think of any I don’t like)

Schindlers List - John Williams- Itzhak Perlman

Streets of Fire - compilation of artists.

The Exorcist- Mike Oldfield

Oh is a great little war film.

Although there are some soundtracks out there which are far more memorable than their movies. Especially from the noughties

The corneto trilogy soundtrack is never far down my Spotify playlist, there something about the way Edgar Wright weaves the tracks into the films makes it so memorable.

Goblins' soundtrack to the film Suspiria.

It matches the movie for sheer madness, and is an amazing fusion of Prog Rock. synth and so much other weirdness that there's nothing else like it.

Sinoia Caves' soundtrack for Beyond the Black Rainbow is amazing. Heavily influenced by John Carpenter.

And while we're on the subject, all of John Carpenter's soundtracks are great too.
