Anyone having something different or special today?

I've just eaten sirloin steak and spuds.

And I've made a jalfrezi for lunches.

The wrong side of the tracks

Corn fed chicken, with stuffed under the skin with tarragon butter, asparagus, chantanay carrots and roast potatoes. Not bad if I say so myself.

I had boiled new potatoes, lemon sole and tenderstem brocoli

Kind of on the healthy side, so to fuck that up totally, about an hour later, I washed it down with a cup of tea and two slices of coconut & raspberry loaf cake

Quite right! I have a few pints of stock from my chicken carcass, and I'm just about to clean the bones, to make a chook broth tomorrow.

East London

I made a roast, for a change.

I had help and there's leftover lamb in the fridge, along with the two bones with some meat on I'm going to make a soup out of tomorrow.

I rarely make a Sunday roast.
