"It doesn't have to be your circus OP." This is very good advice! My two-pennorth would say use it to your best advantage, rather than be dictated to by people who thrive on putting others down. (The forums are full of them - especially guys who will jump on anything another man says and try to use it against him in order to try to make themselves look good in the eyes of the women). 1) Don't set yourself up for that kind of scummy attitude. 2) If the 'Fab' messaging approach doesn't work for you it can still be useful as a site. (I use it for my verifications, which tell a lot about people - and the kind of people they meet). 3) Listen to the positive advice and ignore those narcissistic and arrogant types who live for the fuel of even a hint of complaint from a male. Those self-same people will jump to the defence of any woman who makes the same complaint. The positive folks do give good advice - especially the kinder women. 4) Get onto Kik groups and Discord chats. It's more of a community feel, which, if used in conjunction with Fab (Fab is great for finding out about events and clubs). Many chat groups will lead to connections being made in other than 1 - 1 conversation and IF people behave in a natural and civilised manner it can.lead to private messages from those impressed with your natural and (dare I say) gentlemanly manner. This can.lead to club invites where you've already broken the ice before meeting in person AND is a safe place for a woman to meet you. If it doesn't 'click' for you you've both got the rest of the night to enjoy and make other acquaintances. Be nice, but be real - it's hard for people to really get a feel for who someone is on here. Bear in mind that Fab doesn't work at all for a lot of men (in particular) for lots of reasons and it can drag you down if you let it, that being so. Find what you can use to further your swinging social circle and everything else should take care of itself. It's worked for me massively - and I'm the most bang average bloke you're going to find on here. Good luck, but Listen to - and act on - the advice people give. Just complaining doesn't help further anything. | |||

Many are - it's about finding the right ones. It's been proven many times over that Fab isn't it for the vast majority of single guys. Much better avenues to go down. If single guys all stopped using Fab overnight not a soul would bat an eyelid. Accepting that without anger makes for a lot less angst. A few single women and a few couples might have an issue with it - especially as they'd then need to put an effort in in ways they have no need to now, but otherwise no loss. Accepting that is really good for the soul and removes any chance of ill-feeling. I'm certainly more at peace with myself as a result. I put in no effort, other than socially with friends, apart from commenting on the forums. This should never be more than a distraction and absolutely no one should have it become a remotely dominant part of their lives. Life is for living, not merely for Fab. | |||

"This is exactly the issue with many members on this site—you skim the surface and fail to grasp the actual point someone is making. Nowhere did I mention being unsuccessful on FabSwingers, nor did I say I was unhappy with my overall experience.
