As my dad bought a turkey big enough for 10 even though there were only 4 of us eating yesterday was just wondering what everyone does with their leftovers other than the traditional turkey curry???

In parts of Scotland it's traditional to deep fry what's left of the turkey with a stuffing made from the contents of a Mars selection box.

you could always have turkey sandwiches or even freeze it till you can face the bird again and u can make turkey sheperds pie or nearly any other dish and put it in it but why not try any veg u fancie gravey and the dreaded bird cook it all up nicely anad serve with mash or chips hope you emjoy the left overs take care mery xmas

Make a pasta sauce with muschrooms, cream and strong blue cheese such as Stilton

Make a stir-fry with a sauce such as spicy yellow bean?

Make fried rice with it instead of chicken, along with prawns, peas, mushrooms and eggs and spring onions?

Curried "bugger"

add said turkey to a homepride "curry sauce"

Heat thru and serve with homemade chips.

recipe from me old mom and dad "bless um"

Dad always said...."june ...wot we gonna do with this left over turkey?"

She said"curry the bugger"

and he did...every boxing day and it was scrummy
