Nipple piercings

I’d like to get my nipples pierced . how long recover before some can lick, play with my nipples again . I read 4mths which seems rather dire. Also my nipples don’t point north any more so do they still look good if pierced?Any thoughts opinions would be great.

If you get rings put in you could attach some fishing line and wear like a halter neck bikini.

They'd point North then. 🤔
