The same people that say Spam isn't good for you are the same people that called an experimental medication "Safe and Effective" that's severely injured & disabled 400,000 people and killed 3,000 people in the UK. I'll keep on eating the Spam thanks.

How do you know they’re the same people. You’re making shit up. Take it to the virus thread down there ⬇️

Somewhere In The Ether…

"I don't think I've ever bought or eaten Spam. 🤔 Is it anything like corned beef?"

It’s a combination of turkey and ham (often with an unidentifiable, ectoplasmic like jelly around it…)

But well worth a try 👍🏻😃 (well, I think so at least)

Ah, I call that the meat boogers. 😆 Corned beef in a can gets the same thing, by the sounds of it.

Oh, I like turkey. I like ham. I'll put a can on my ever-changing shopping list. 😁

"Not had a corned beef hash in ages!"

Me neither. My mate used to make one now and again, but it's been ages. I might drop a hint lol.

My favourite thing with corned beef is probably a sandwich. Warburton's Farmhouse, corned beef sliced thick (or doubled, if pre-sliced), some extra mature cheddar and a bit of sauce. Tiny bit of red and brown together is bleddy ansum.

Also really like a very thin spread of mayo, with a sprinkle of black pepper. Bit weird, I know but one of the rare times I use mayo lol.

It’s a yes from me OP, but I fear the word ‘treat’ maybe stretching things slightly.

Fritters or pan fried in a bun like you. I also dice it to make spam hash with taters and stuff.

Redhill

I used to have it as a child, along with tinned devilled ham sandwiches in the back cabin of my auntie’s pick up truck on those mega long drives from Nogales to Los Angeles.

They were amazing at the time. I bought a tin of each at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and they are both utterly rank, haha.

But the memories… 😍😍😍
