I'm training for a competition in 10 weeks time. Today's "excitement".

Press & split jerk.

Snatch doubles

Clean pull, clean & front squat.

Back squats.

Back in again tomorrow, for similar.

It was a full body day today

4x2 Pause Deadlift

1x3 Bench Press at 90% of 1rm

2x4 Bench Press at 80% of 1rm

3x20 Hip Abduction

3x6 Weighted Pull-ups

3x10 Skull Crushers

3x8 Standing Calf Raises

Tonight’s training was first upper session of the week

Press behind neck 1x6, 1x10

Incline bench 1x7, 1x9

Machine lateral raise 2x14

Dumbell pullover 2x14

Barbell row 1x7, 1x8

Underhand hammer strength pulldown 2x10 (should have been machine pullovers but it’s broken)

Single arm cable row 2x9

Machine shrug 2x15

Face pull 1x25

Only work sets listed

Not allowed to put pressure through my palm or lift anything of substance for min 4wks after my hand surgery. Struggling to propel on a hard, flat floor, zero chance on carpet. Very frustrated at all the gainz lost, but I'll be back.

In the in between at the moment ( trying new things after sticking to a 6 week routine)

Today :

StepMaster ( 15 mins)

Cycle ( 15 mins)

And a new piece of equipment at the gym which I can only describe as a pull down rowing machine ( 10mins)

Swim / Steam room to finish off!

No gym tonight, I got a half decent exercise bike for nowt off my next door neighbor after he broke his toes walking into it in the dark haha did ten mins on it tonight and legs are fucked sure I was born without any endurance fibres in my quads haha

Barbell bench

Incline smiths

High cable crossovers

Low cable flies

Skull crushers

Tricep pushdowns

Overhead tricep extensions

I trained earlier than normal because I couldn’t sleep so wasn’t as strong as usual but got a decent pump.

I did 16,357 steps, walked dogs, walked horses field. Carried full water buckets and lugged hay nets around.

That’s my exercise for today.

Extremely lazy compared to most of you.
