Carlisle usually

I made slow cooked beef stew last week.

It was beautiful.

But the 8 hours of my house smelling of beef and red wine stewing before it was ready was fucking torture.

No. I'm a complete chaos goblin for cooking.

Some beef. Some veg. Some herbs. Some wine.

Last week's was generic diced beef. Onion, carrots, tomatoes and celery for veg. Herbs were mostly generic mixed, garlic and paprika. Some beef stock. Whatever red wine was cheapest in the single glass sized bottles at the spar that day.

Been slow cooker meal prepping the last few weeks. Made a great birria yesterday. And chipotle chicken the week before last. Both excellent.

Yeah, I'm the same. One pot, whack it in. A bit hit and miss generally.

Not Local

Probably a lentil dahl, I havent actually cooked it for ages but a pot full can do me three days. Or a big lasagne, equally I can get three days out of one of those. My shopping bill would be so cheap if there was just myself to feed.
