"Are they indoor only cats or outdoorsy? Is their litter tray changed regularly? Are you giving off “fuck off and leave!” Vibes? Because they could be reciprocating with “take this!!!” Poo in your shoe vibes. They could be anxious and taking awhile to readjust." Absolutely no fuck off & leave vibes I twist, but they sleep in my bed and get loads of enrichment. They know they're doing well here

"How many cats do you have? Are they all showing the same behaviour? It could be health related, so worth getting the vet to check for a UTI. Arthritis and pain might prevent your cat from getting into it's litter tray. Is there anything which might have changed and is causing your cat to be stressed? Do you have enough litter trays? Some cats won't share with other cats, some prefer to pee and poo in different trays. Have you changed the location of the litter tray? Or the type of litter you use? Are you charging the litter regularly...you might need to do this more frequently for some cats. Just a couple of ideas to get you started " 2 cats. The 4yr old uses the trays as normal (I have 3 in different spots in case they want privacy/no other cat smells). Older cat is fine with it. Younger cat has randomly started peeing on carpet/bed She's 2wks post spay I should add. So maybe that's the issue?

" It could be that she's stressed from that but always a good idea to check in with your vet when there's a significant behaviour change. Hope you get it sorted
