Been eyeing up one for a while and now thinking about taking the plunge.

Does anyone have one? Thoughts/experiences?

North East Scotland, mostly

Do it! It’s definitely helped me wake up more gradually, which helps in the darker mornings.

Ahh good - glad it's worked.

I read the reviews on things sometimes and am pretty distrusting.

Doesn’t everyone use their phone as an alarm clock

East of Eden, West of Hell

Love mine, but it doesn't wake me up anymore. I just used it as a bedside light!

Yeah, I'll probably still set an alarm (either in the Lumie or carry on with my phone). Having it as a bedside light is a bonus I guess.

Well yeah, but its schtick is that it mimics natural sunset and sunrise to make you feel fresher when you wake up.

The accumulative effect of making things 1-2% better in life adds up.

When my butler wakes me up tomorrow morning with my cup of cha and my daily toasted crumpet then I will ask him what alarm he uses.

I hope he uses that new scullery maid for tomorrow’s crumpet - her cheeks are rather toasty when they have been warmed by the log fire. I had to have words when he tried to palm me off with Mrs Muggins the gardeners wife last week.

I looooove mine. Use it to gradually get darker when I go to sleep and again to light up in the morning. It's nice to wake up to a light room not a dark one.

This is exactly what it designed for. Is that a recommendation?

North East / London

Definitely get one. I have been using one for over 10 years. I wouldn’t go back.

It is particularly useful in winter as you don’t get the sudden shock when you put on the lights on a dark winter morning.

Alright, I'm pretty much sold- just didn't want to rely on online retailer reviews!

I can’t get through winter without mine. Which reminds me I must plug it in and check it’s still working now the darker mornings are on their way!
