Do you get autumn tiredness?

From the land of haribos.

The summer is over and it is transitioning to autumn, do you also get more tired than usual under this transition period?

The reason we do get more tired is because there is less day light and longer nights as the year winds down too

I know that it gets much harder to get out of the bed. That could just be the warm, fluffy, brushed cotton sheets that go on in the colder months though 🤔😅

100% I’m a summer person lol but once I do pull myself together and get my arse moving nothing nicer than a walk in the dark on a crisp quite morning

Nope. I come alive in Autumn. Summer I can be a bit sticky, bit hot, bit grumbly.

In the Autumn though? There are beautiful walks. Lovely crisp mornings to enjoy a mocha in the garden. Not getting sweaty and my hair frizzing up. I'm in a happier mood, I lose weight. I want all the sex. I'm even more annoying in Autumn.

I used to get colds and bad headaches during the changes of the season. Started taking vitamins and it seems to have done well.

I work full time nightshift and struggle in the winter due to lack of daylight. Will start taking vitamin D again in October.

Yes definitely but I don't think having a stinking cold and cough just after a previous cough just after covid has helped.

I think so but I also get increased fatigue from high temperatures, so having it cooler relieves that

Once the clocks go back I'll be ready for bed by 8pm.

I go into hibernation mode and stop arranging to see people in the evenings.

When I was meeting people from here I closed my profile down when the dark evenings came.

I love Autumn but the SAD sets in and I have to take my medication, which makes me more tired.

I perk up once I'm in Christmas mode.

I feel bad for people who go to work in the dark, work inside all day then come home in the dark.

We have a sunlight clock but the bright light just annoys us in the morning.... no calm circadian rhythm here 🫣

I used to suffer terribly with SAD when living in the UK.

Here we get pretty much 12 hour days and 12 hour nights all year round.

I kind of miss the long summer evenings but it seems to work for me.

Working in the Arctic is a trip. 24 of sunlight, not daylight but sunlight, during the summer and winter has 24 hours of darkness.
