I don't. I hate it. I have never reached the endorphin stage with it, and there are much more enjoyable ways to flood my body with endorphins that I enjoy every moment of. And I think I look good without it anyway 💜

Same

But to add to this, I find exercise a great way of burning off my stress levels, I zone out completely from life and the endorphins make me feel so good afterwards

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

Once you reach a certain stage, it's a great feeling to stretch your body in this way.

Also the health benefits are great.

Reduced stress levels.

Reduced body fat.

Better looking physique.

I'm glad I got back into it recently. I feel good about me! (I did before, but much more now!).

I notice a dip in my mental health when I’m not active. I don’t get really depressed or anything but I just don’t feel right. I also enjoy what my body is capable of doing. I can go for a 5k run and not feel exhausted by it. I can still lift some pretty decent weight and of course I like how my body responds to the exercise I do.

your wildest dreams,

I do it because I’m old. Constantly have to work on things like muscle mass, strength, balance and co ordination. I usually hate it but feel good about having done it when I come out.

There is a saying -

‘The mind is weak. The body is strong’

I like the challenge of my mind saying ‘you can’t do that’ but my body saying ‘yeh I can’.

I like proving my mind wrong.

Does running count?

If so, because I enjoy it; I enjoy exploring new and longer routes, I enjoy running old routes faster than before, I enjoy being in competition with myself.

The extra stamina for other activities is a welcome bonus.

Of course it does, where I live. It is all uphill, so I run uphill always. Makes running on flat land, easy.

Used to train for strength at a younger age to the point of competition level powerlifting for my weight class. Now that I’m older, I don’t risk injury with such heavy weights and just train as it makes me feel good with the added benefit of being aesthetic.

I need to get back into it. I ised to cycle and curcuit train. Shattered my elbow and the recovery time and then work and then this & that and now the endorphin rush and the not bad body shape is a distant (and envious) memory.

Must get back in the saddle.

I enjoy going outside walking swimming and cycling.

I go to the gym on average 3 times a weight just to lift weights … this I don’t particularly enjoy but I do this consistently anyway because I know how vital muscle mass is in advancing years
