Same

But to add to this, I find exercise a great way of burning off my stress levels, I zone out completely from life and the endorphins make me feel so good afterwards

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

Once you reach a certain stage, it's a great feeling to stretch your body in this way.

Also the health benefits are great.

Reduced stress levels.

Reduced body fat.

Better looking physique.

I'm glad I got back into it recently. I feel good about me! (I did before, but much more now!).

I notice a dip in my mental health when I’m not active. I don’t get really depressed or anything but I just don’t feel right. I also enjoy what my body is capable of doing. I can go for a 5k run and not feel exhausted by it. I can still lift some pretty decent weight and of course I like how my body responds to the exercise I do.

There is a saying -

I like proving my mind wrong.

Does running count?

If so, because I enjoy it; I enjoy exploring new and longer routes, I enjoy running old routes faster than before, I enjoy being in competition with myself.

The extra stamina for other activities is a welcome bonus.

To maintain my current(ish) weight and build (that I'm happy with) as I love food and drink. To maintain my proformas and ability physically (its important to me that I can climbs things, lift things and run at distance when I want). It helps my mental wellbeing and to regulate my stress and anxiety. Plus I know it's just good for my overall health as I get older.
