Hi, working from home and wondering.

What do people prefer, office for the social side or home for the private?

Mostly at home as I hate the commute in the morning and having the pleasure to pay for it.

Also allows to get some housework done.

Once every few days is ok to go to the office for the social aspect.

"Home. No commute."

Great point. Saves me an hour a day WFH.

I love WFH , I get grumpy having to go in - different clothes , shoes not slippers and then there’s doing my hair … no thanks

Home - I’m contractually a home worker. Much prefer it that way. It’s easier with having the dog and I get more done without interruptions.

Offices for social 🤔

I suppose they are preferable to peeling off one's own skin and then bathing in salt water.

I do both but when I’m at home I can go personal stuff as well as work like an hour phone call to the dreaded tax office last week on works time

Not sure I could do that again. I like the social side but all day in an office. Killer

Home.

Current office policy is 2 days home 3 in the office but I much prefer home. More productive, less distractions, can stay away from office politics and it's also handy for doing bits and pieces round the house in your break. Also no commuting or spending money on fuel.

Office gives structure but prefer home.

Partly because I hate my ability to play nice with 'colleagues' and being made to turn up to office social events being factors in whether I can do my job.

Which is mostly just a way to try and convince me that I'm not underpaid and that my work is actually appreciated by the people I am making rich.

Neither. I work all over the country. My idea of hell is being stuck at home working or stuck in an office working
