Hi all. Just wondering - beards, a turn off for women?

Depends on the beard. Depends on the person it's attached to. Depends on the woman looking at it and deciding if they're hot or not.

Would have thought that myself but I've come across quite a few profiles recently that say "no beards". Everyone's perogative of course but find it interesting that people would say that as a blanket no to all sorts of potential good connections. I don't usually have a beard btw (apart from lazy periods where I can't be arsed to shave) so this isn't me making a boohoo point, just find it interesting.

People have preferences.

Not all people have the same preferences.

Some women do not like beards at all ever and do not want to engage with men that have them.

Some women don't want men who don't have beards. And they've got a point, there's something about the way they hold the scent after they've been down on you that just. Yeah.

I think most probably decide based on the overall attractiveness rather than one single facet.

I don’t mind a well kept clean beard but it does depend on the man it’s attached to, some men can rock a nice beard and others can’t but it has to be well kept and not long for me!!

I always think these kind of ‘generic’ threads (do men/women like beard, tats, dadbod, gymbod, big women, skinny women……..) should be renamed ‘Do different human beings like different things ?’.

The answer is always invariably ‘Yes’.

Unless you’re gonna change what you gotta to suit the preferences of the hotty you’re after. The question is largely irrelevant.

The thing about beard is they're really easy to get rid of, if a lady doesn't like them. I tend to go about with a bit of stubble most of the time. I'd usually go clean shaven for a meet (because, y'know, nobody wants sandpaper in their pants), but I'm equally happy to grow it out if that's what's preferred. Versatility, innit?

A well-kept,shaped and clean beard can suit some people really well.

It wouldn't be a put off unless it was a major hygiene risk and those kind of Beards you can usually see a mile off.

Personally I think a beard can be a beautiful addition to someone.

Mine came out of boredom in Covid and I couldn’t imagine not having one now.

It’s even fun to go for the shaping, cut throat shave and the facial (not that kind of facial 🫣)

Yea I wonder if they’d be ok with me wearing a beard net. Stop those folk worrying about beards

I prefer stubble to beards. Short beards are OK but I am not fond of the longer ones.

Stubble is bad for me, it’s likely to remove skin 🫣

I generally alternate between stubble and a beard.

Currently it's the beard.

Nobody I meet regularly has suddenly stopped taking calls or come up with an excuse as to why we shouldn't meet.

Some of them egged me on to grow it.

When I get bored of it, which will inevitably happen, I'll get rid.

The day I do that just to get a meet however or because someone demands/requests it, is the day I go celibate. 🧔🧔🧔

I’ve had a beard/goatee/stubble since I was old enough to grow it and have been out with a few women who didn’t like it. Most said it was because it scratched or tickled them and they didn’t like it. That would justify the blanket ban on facial hair.
