Before anyone says I am not attention seeking or looking for sympathy. Ok got that out the way.

The reason I have posted this is coz I am feeling very alone in myself and wish I had a partner to share my ups as well as downs.

Just because I am on a swingers site and not a dating site does not mean I don't have feelings and can be vulnerable to the elements of life.

Just thought I would share my bit of psychology lol

I find when I'm down that being on here I have found some true friends.

Recent hard times have shown me that, not having a partner doesn't mean you can't share things or cuddle up. Sometimes you can have the best of both.

Diamond lol.

Van we all get like it sometimes. Having that special someone is lovely to text you in a morning and to tell your special news to.

It is painful when that is gone. My special someones are my children but often cant tell them all my exciting stuff lol.

I have a good friend and she is great. She knows the me that cries the me that smiles and the _ruit on fab. And that is very lucky to have.

Loneliness is a state of mine. You have your son and you have friends. People can do lots of things without having to be in relationship, sometimes if we seek to hard it doesnt find us, but if we sit back and have fun then you never know whats around the corner

I have found this to be true apart from the cuddling up bit as I have not actually met anyone. Maybe that's my own fault. I don't know lol but yes people have been very good to me on here

I have said it before and I will say it again to you, the volume of change that you have gone through is bound to have an impact. You have done well to cope thus far and it would do no harm to speak to a professional. Let your doctor know and take it from there.

The friends you have made on here will be an ear, but may not be the best to support you through some of the darker feeling you may have.

I am sure the doctor will be a great source of help.

I didnt say anything about cuddles, i was trying to say that you can do alot without being in a relationship. I think we all do need cuddles at times. Yes i got an awful lot of support at christmas for which i will be enternally grateful

I do not rely on others for my own well-being and happiness.

There have been the odd moments or two when I thought it would be nice to have another person to share my life with, however, it would not take long for me to come to my senses again, as I definitely have had a few memories that are as effective as cold showers!

Life is grand as it is and I have no plan to change it.

What about your scooter/mod club/groups you belong. Maybe you could meet a lady through them and you know you would both have the same interests. Just starting with friendship can lead to different things.

Where do you actively go to meet ladies? Could you go to more places?

We all have days (or weeks, or even months) where we question our worth and our existance.

This is even more acute when you feel that you are dealing with it alone.

Some deal with that better than others.

If holding a hand out to people in here helps you deal with and cope with how you are feeling today (or in general), then get on with it.

You will always get the odd nay sayer and critic, but if Fab (and particularly The Forums) has done anything for me, it has proven that there is some truth in the old line 'you find friends in the strangest of places'
