My ex partner opened my eyes last night with the realisation that she has admitted that at least 70 percent of females pee in the public swimming pool! Reasons for doing so - it's just easier, it's a pain to remove all the clothing (costume esp if one piece), the costume is incredibly clingy when wet! It's a pain walking all the way to the loos, women just get a strong urge to pee when submerged in luke warm water!

This is backed up by my ex-ex that used to do this every chance she had!

Do you agree with her statement?

Never, ever in my life have I peed in a pool. Nor do I intend to in the future.

I used to work as a lifeguard in a large swimming pool complex (2x 50m, 1x25m, 2x children pools). 1998 until 2004.

I can guarantee you it's not 70% of women, but 70% of everyone. Children more so, obviously.

Hence why I very rarely will get in a swimming pool, these days.

Was this survey completed via an exit poll at the door?

Or by someone sat with a pair of binos looking for traces of yellow? 😮😮

By me. My shifts consisted of sitting for 8-10 hours on a umpire chair by the pool, keeping an eye on people.

You can easily tell, not just by the yellow patches in the water.

You see them randomly stopping, relaxing, rummaging down there, relaxed blissful expressions on faces, dead legs. There are many telltale signs, often concurrent.

Op, may I suggest you meet women in future that have good bathroom habits/hygiene and full bladder control.

Been meeting some right classy ones you have!

🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can confirm I've never pissed in a swimming pool.

I did wonder why the pool is always warmer after the aqua aerobics classes.

The ex ex also did it in a secluded spot at trago shopping centre in the garden section,

The ex wife did it on one of those rubber ring log flume rides in Orlando lol

I can confirm I've never pissed in a swimming pool.

It's squirting, not urination/pee, surely?

When I was a lifeguard, there was no evidence that it was anything like the majority of people. I'd definitely not trust kids though and would stay away from the pool after

If the pool stinks of chlorine, people have been pissing.

Always noticeable that a normal lane swim I can come out and not smell of chlorine, go to the family swim it’s another story have to shower for ages to rid myself of the smell and basically the piss

I've heard that the lane swimmers are the worst for it tbh - esp the ones who are training semi pro!

I got thrown out for pissing in the swimming pool.

I'm not surprised though, I was stood on the top board.
