Not that it remotely matters, but I am kinda interested how it works.

I'm hardly active on Fab at all atm, just have a few friends I chat to. I have a profile that doesn't stand out in anyway and I haven't posted much on the forum and when I have, nothing particularly controversial.

All of a sudden my profile views have shot up, I'm getting 20 a day or so ( when normally it would range between 0 and 2)

Like I say, it doesn't really matter, but I just wondered how it works, algorithms? Russian bots? Anyone know?

I think it's coincidence. We go ages with no messages and few views then suddenly several messages arrive at once and our views shoot up.

I'm fairly consistent in forum contributions and we're out of most people's age range so 🤷‍♀️

Mine are just views but no messages, which I get, as I won't be what most people are looking for.

Ah well, maybe I'll never know, still, makes it a bit more interesting for me

You are allowing it to be visited by search engines. You can turn this off in the privacy section. Reduces the chance of family seeing it.

There's a lot that can effect it. Like being online early hours during the weekend you will get loads of views. Posts on forums definitely bump it up especially threads that engage you to participate.
