Ey up good folks 😃

Most of us were rightly disappointed with how the original series ended so were generally very excited when Dexter returned in the limited series, New Blood in 2021.

Unfortunately the ending of that was even bloody worse(!!!) - or at least I thought!

Well….drum roll please….

For anyone who hasn’t already heard, I am pleased to announce that Dexter is officially returning in not one but TWO new series (yay!!!)

The first is a prequel series entitled, Original Sin and features Patrick Gibson playing our protagonist with Michael C Hall narrating ala Young Sheldon.

But even better; The second series is entitled Resurrection and is a direct follow up to New Blood with Hall returning as Dexter once again (He survived - somehow!)

Even better, it isn’t going to be a one off, rather multiple seasons are planned!

Original Sin is due in December whilst Resurrection will air next Summer.

I am blooming happy 👍🏻

New Blood was rather good initially but focused too much on Dexter’s son who seemed to have inherited his ‘Dark Passenger’.

The main villain was non other than the always superb Clancy Brown (The Kurgen from Highlander) and it all seemed to be heading for a great climax…

Sadly, without giving any spoilers away, I was left mightily peed off with the eventual outcome however!

Having said this, it’s still worth watching, especially with the new series coming which will at least set the finale on a better trajectory 😃😃👍🏻

Dexter was superb up until series 5 and it's been terrible since. Blooming lumen was his downfall.

Omg … just started series one no 6 really enjoying it I’m more over getting into the personalities that make the show quite different so far so good enjoying Dexter and his cold character but charming at the same time

I am so glad I clicked on this thread, I absolutely loved Dexter, so happy to hear there will be more
