Gibraltar/Cheshire/London

Every single word of Panic

Understand that "The Disco" mentioned in the song was Top of the Pops, "Grasmere" Morrisey's fave lake in the Lake District, meant "Lakeview" and each time Morrisey sings the word "Panic" simply substitute the word "Savile" and the song's meaning becomes crystal clear.

City Centre

The boy with the thorn in his side

Behind the hatred there lies

A murderous desire

For love

Love that song.

J Mascis does a great version (if you like slacker stuff)

Colchester

There's a club if you'd like to go

You could meet somebody who really loves you

So you go and you stand on your own

And you leave on your own

And you go home and you cry

And you want to die

Wow! I never knew that. It makes sense though.

Each household appliance

Is like a new science

In my town

Good times for a change

See, the luck I've had

Can make a good man

Turn bad

I’d never heard that theory before but it does make perfect sense. Maybe I’ll cut Morrisey a tiny bit of slack.
