Somewhere

Loved this as a kid!

Still awaiting my automated maid

Self driving car...

But mega things have changed in the past 30yrs. What does the future inventions herald?

And in the year 3000 will Busted still be singing

The number of studio demonstrations that failed was always fun to note.

Isn't this show on YouTube or iPlayer? I was a viewer too, funny thing is that there's probably far more inventions coming to fruition now, than there were back in the 80s

Awww I loved tomorrow world, back when the next generation had hope of a better world then the last.

lol Mmmm busted probably will still be singing but only on gold Tv

Invention wise, alas they’ll probably still be waiting on the above but some other pretty cool stuff as well. Being able to quickly print complex organs for patients would be epic and super advance nanotechnology to attack diseases etc x

I'd love to know, what is it that has changed from 30 years ago. The biggest one I would say, the Internet and mobile phones.

Really though, has life changed that much, for me not as much as we all thought it would. Those old tomorrows world programs always looked at the extreme for tech, but in reality we seem to use our inventive sides and industry for entertainment and profits rather than bettering the human race.

I'd say we probably peaked 30 years ago, we are well and truly on the downslope now. Let's just enjoy the ride.

I like to think we still have a long way to go, quantum computers are still being discovered, private space travel is still a new thing, we have lots to still do

We are not going to make it to the year 3000. AI will see us as a virus and wipe us out.
