Do you have a favourite song to sing on karaoke..

Will you just get up and sing or do you need a few drinks first..

Amy karaoke stories..

My story is I was singing 'smells like teen spirit' by nirvana and obviously smashing it.. I had left my drink on the table with my friends thinking they'd look after it. But obviously as I was so amazing they got up to dance.. When I went back to my drink sadly mine and a friends had been spiked and I was out cold shortly after.. My friend who hadn't been spiked called my now ex husband to come and get me.. And he didn't believe I hadn't had much to drink and gave me a hell of a bad time about how I was... Proof I'd been spiked was my friend who is a paramedic was the same as me and she oy had to drink.. But did he belive me.. Nope.. And he wasn't too happy when I puked all over the dashboard of his new car.. Lol.. Serves him right.

Anyway my go to song now is either Hey Jude or Yesterday by the Beatles.. No more nirvana

Sheffield

I tend to sing more around fire pits and at folk clubs...

Favourite Karaoke song?

Probably "It's been a while" by Stain'd

First time I sang it I made the barmaid actually cry.

I do also have a Karaoke related head injury. But that's a story for another time.

Nerves. The times I’ve been not quite d*unk enough to go for it.

Then there’s the times I have and been boo’d off.

One place I’ve seen where the standard is really high on a regular night and you wouldn’t dare go up.

Thing is I’m usually singing away to radio and in my head I’m not that bad

Me and a friend sang “tainted love” at a works do and we emptied the room.

It’s a long song when you’re singing it to yourself too

I adore Karaoke, … I have my own machine which comes out at parties etc.

My favourite song has to be Say Hello, Wave Goodbye … the original being done farrrrrrrrr better than my rendition by Soft Cell.

Lucky man by The Verve! But the instrumental intro is quite long and I keep starting the song slightly too early, depending how pissed I am.

somewhere

Bit of a karaoke lover here, bad moon rising or tequila by the champs is my go too.

My story? This is only the second time Rubiklongsword met my friends but I had got very pissed on pre drinks, we arrived, I requested 4 songs: best song ever, shake it off, 9 to 5 and hey Jude. Now the DJ is a friend and could see he needed to get my songs out the way.

I mumbled my way through shake it off (can't remember if I did 9 to 5) but we got to hey Jude and I was just standing there, unable to open my mouth, Rubiklongsword had never sang hey Jude (I know, he should get a ban for that!) but tried, my ex husband got up and sang with him 😂.

We left the pub right after that and do you know how long we had been gone? 30 mins 😂.

Found my key, avoided pot holes on my road and was tucked up in bed by about 9pm.
