Hubby had some great news yesterday. His Hba1c levels were 41 yesterday, meaning if he wasn't taking his diabetes meds he would be in remission.

This is great news for him and a huge reduction in his blood sugars considering he had a blood sugar level of over 110 at the beginning of April this year.

I'm so proud of him and he's now looking at a reduction plan for his diabetic medication.

He's done this inspite of all the other health issues he has had to endure.

So for those who have Type 2, there is light at the end of the tunnel, you just got to keep fighting, it's not easy but you are all worth the fight.

Well done hubby, but it's never over, just one foot in front of the other, small steps can carry you so far.

Hydrogenated fat, (trans fats), are a significant cause of type 2 Diabetes. They are banned from processed food in some European countries and some US states.

Read the ingredients on the package.

"Eat the burger, not the bun".

Use walnuts to substitute for the fats your body requires.

Thanks for that. He has lost a she'd load of weight since his diagnosis.

He's upped his efforts over the last year with training and has followed the Keto diet with great results.
