What are the funniest ways that loudcasters - those who have loud noise, typically via phones, that are intrusive on others' wellbeing? Have you had success in getting them silenced?

Is it okay to cultivate hideous farts and let them rip in their vicinity, for example?

Must be some ideas and thoughts? I'm just being blasted by about 20 people, all using mobiles on high volume, speaking/shouting and 2 playing something

Personally I'd use an electric cattle prod on them.

When people listen to music or watch things on their phones with the preaker blaring away for all to hear. The look on their faces when I staple them to a wall is hilarious.

I'd definitely laugh at that!

This is one of my pet hates when out in public. I know most of us are perfect, me in particular, but society at large does seem to be getting more inconsiderate/selfish by the day.

They should be made to shuffle round with their trousers round their ankles and wear a sandwich board for the rest of the day emblazoned with the words “I am a noisy prick and this is my punishment being selfish.”

A massive bug bear of mine and sign of complete lack of consideration for others. I think there is no excuse for it and anyone who does realise it's inconsiderate it's frankly too stupid to be allowed access to a mobile device.

Good points

I'm sure there must be some more funny ways to successfully stop them, whilst not getting knifed, shot etc.

An AI driven tool should analyse their speech and then regurgitate some equally insane bullshit, which would obviously increase in loudness.

I did loudly laugh a lot earlier, after seeing some necks getting throttled by people incensed by loud talkers, which did result in a lot of them quietening down.

Once sat on the train near a woman listening to really loud bible passages... Needless to say I'm not into that kinda thing.. Each to their own but keep it to ya self... Felt like putting on some porn really loudly to drown out her podcasts

Dom Jolly and his big mobile phone, for a laugh

If I'd found this earlier, whilst surrounded by the large bunch of noisy bastards, I'd have played it full volume on repeat, whilst shouting in a conversation with him

Handfarts. Well, possibly a way of taking the piss if somebody has one of those alerts for every incoming text...

It was good to find and watch it. I was in an airport earlier and had these noisy guys shouting at their loudspeaker phones - so I played it and spoke to it loudly too. The loud Nokia ringtone was a bit of a killer of them.

Years ago I lived in a house full of bedsits. A deaf old couple had an incredibly loud radio.

I used to hold my light switch half over so it arced like buggery. The noise had them running for the volume control.

It wasn't my switch or my wiring to worry about!

A novel practical step

We were sitting in a mostly empty carriage on the train. The guy opposite us was listening “In The Air Tonight” through hie earphones. We just watched and waited, and sure enough, when the drum solo came in, he air drummed along. We laughed to each other, and we’re sure he didn’t realise we were listening in.

At least he had earphones - so much better than the pandemic of bellends who now 'loudcast' on full volume, having chats and whatever their antisocial demands dictate others must suffer. It's part of the same issue as those with earphones that we have to listen to the abysmal tinniness of their noise reproduction at a distance
