The furthest was 320 miles. It was a long weekend thing, though.

For a one day only meet I've driven 100 miles. Last week, actually.

Transsexual Transylvania

Half an hour's drive is about the limit - so probably around 15 - 20 miles.

Gosh, last night I got a message from a guy who's chatted to me a few times. He was in a hotel, and said I should come over and he'll meet me in reception, we'll have drinks, a snog, and fabulous unhurried sex.

His hotel was in Ipswich. I'm near Oxford - 130 miles' drive.

I mean... ffs, don't men think?

I used to do Ipswich there and back in a night, but it's only 80 miles from here (and that was not to see a bloke).

If you're prepared to do it, all well and good. When I worked in Johannesburg I used to drive 120km to work, and again home in the evening - that's about 80 miles.

No, it's the magnanimous offer of me driving over 130 miles to his hotel where he will rock my world, coupled with the assumption that I'm shaved, douched, dressed and sitting around waiting to go, that gets me eyerolling!

Um...

No!

As I said to him, I'm not sitting around dressed, douched and raring to go, like some kind of t-girl fighter pilot on standby for unidentified cock. 🤣

The most I've ever travelled was 200 miles, there and back, by train, which included an overnight hotel stay. My date would then travel the same distance to see me. I've come to realise that when you have a special connection with someone, distance will never be an obstacle.

Note to self: do not go down with Phooey

You're right tho. It's not something I do without proper due diligence... No casual shag (sorry, swinging "connection") is worth getting the eyebrows singed for!

For a Londoner going south of the river is like going into the end of the earth.
