What type of friend are you either on here or off here?

Always there?

Only there when you need someone?

Daily contact?

Contact every now and then but feels like it was only yesterday?

Are you the friend that “drains” others or are you the friend that people always seem to come to to “offload”

Personally I have a very small friendship group who I know if they needed me or I needed them they’d be there

On here I’m not really sure what the friends bit does other than showing access to photos you may not show to others. How often do you have contact with your “friends” on here?

I'm not exactly sure what type of friend I am but I know the type of friend I'd like to be. I'm not always there but I try to be there when someone really needs me. I'm dire at daily contact and I don't think it's needed for a friendship to be good.

That doesn't mean I'd disappear for a few months and then return without a "Hey, sorry for being awol" message to those who matter.

I don't see there being distinction between friends on here and away from. You can have acquaintances. In terms of the actual feature? It just means you want to perv/keep up with each other, not that you're besties necessarily.

Terrible.

Don’t tell me your problems 1) I don’t care 2) I’ll just take the piss and you’ll end up crying, so it’s best for everyone if you keep that shit to yourself. The best people in my life are the ones who greet me with an insult and only contact me when they need something.

It's different with each friend, isn't it? It's not a "one size fits all" kinda thing.

And it depends what's going on in life as to how good a friend I am tbh. When I'm overwhelmed and stressed I don't always have the capacity to be putting others first and I withdraw a bit. Other times the roles are reversed. These things ebb and flow.

My fab friends are friends and no different to the ones I've met elsewhere.

I'm often the kind of friend people come to when they have a problem they want to talk through, or want advice or reassurance about how they're dealing with a problem. And I like to think I'm good at that.

I don't like to just randomly message people without a reason so I'll probably send people links to things I think they'll be interested in or memes I think will amuse them - I'm an acts of service person I guess. But if it's been a little while since I spoke to someone I will just send them a 'Hi, how're you doing?' every so often.

I'm not really friends with anyone on fab. A couple of people chat with us in a semi regular basis but we don't know each other on more than a surface level.

Off fab I'm the type of friend who won't make false promises. If I say I'll do something I will. That's about it.
