Adebayor's problem is that he thinks he's better than he actually is! The reality is unless chances are on a plate, he can't score! The top strikers can great magic out of half chances or out of nothing.

I've noticed a pattern with EA that he plays out of his skin upon joining a new club then his almost like Berbatov traits take over, seemingly disinterested and lethargic. He also picked up his form prior to Spurs making his signing permanent.

He offered very little last night but hard luck spurs.

Adebayour sums up everything that is wrong with a lot of modern players. Last season he was great for Spurs because he was playing for his future.

Now he is on a long term contract he can't bothered and will still get his £80k a week.
